Are you ethically opposed to growing a human brain in a laboratory dish?

Why would anyone have a problem with it? Isn't sentient or anything. No where even close.

Unless you believe in magical fairies who wave their wands on newborn infants giving them "sentience," then sentience isn't a magical substance that is "flipped on" as a binary switch, it develops in a continuum in a growing human brain, regardless of the location of that human brain.

As long as it is not smarter than me.

Come to think of it, there would be a whole new set of issues to wrestle with if they ground up these lab-grown human brains and sold them to vegans as "cruelty-free laboratory-grown meat."
