I'm wondering if anyone here knows of a place on the internet where I could get free copies of Galileo and/or Newtons writings and possibly other contributing physicists. I would also be interested in Albert Einsteins writings but I'm guessing most of those are copyrighted.

Most of the old time thinkers can be found at http://echo.mpiwg-berlin.mpg.de/content/scientific_revolution. Einstein's writings are mostly public domain so do a google on him.

Hi ! I recently found a free downloadable copy of Gallileo's "Two World Systems" translated into English including diagrams (approx 330Kb)

Can't recall the exact web address where I found it, but it starts with: http://webexhibits.org/

- Try this in google, and if still no luck, E mail me & I can send you a copy.

Good luck

Dave
