A DIY chain is launching a wedding list service for couples who would rather receive a power drill than a canteen of cutlery.
B&Q said the growing number of couples living together before getting married meant the service, which it claimed was a first in its field, was likely to prove a hit. And rather than the idea appealing purely to men, it seems women are even more in favour.
In a poll of 5,000 adults, 91% of women said they would have their wedding list at a DIY chain compared with 73% of men.
