How to keep your tabs:
Mac-Apple use of the tab: You're probably as frustrated as I was with their disappearance for no apparent reason. But my excellent No. 1 Son, an expert in the field, has provided this solution:
Never Shut Down but instead Sleep. This has the disadvantage (1) of consuming a little more power (two or three watts according to No. 1), and (2) of occupying considerable memory; so he has provided me with more. It wasn't easy, either, as anyone in this field will testify
Also, don't hit the red button at the upper left corner
At first you'll forget, automatically hitting Shut Down. So, using a Sharpie, which won't eat into your plastic screen, cross out both "Shut Down" and the red dot (using "File Close" instead). Later after you've adopted my habit you can easily wash 'em off with, eg, alcohol
Incidentally a committee of 42 editing-routine writers at Mac/Apple has been working on this problem for 13 years now but of course no forthcoming solution since the Software Industry considers only applicants for editing work having an IQ of 56 or less
Oh incidentally, fellas, I note you've finally realized that "We'ds" is a misspelling of "We'd," which means "we would," and that it took you only 17 years to apprehend. Oh, I'm sorry, that means to find out
Now let's talk about "I'ds," a misspelling of I'd," which means "I would." Might take you a while, but ask your superior, your boss that is
@dalehileman,
Didn't anyone derive even the slightest chuckle....
