My eggplant (type: snowy) has gigantic holes on the leaves. It's still in the potted phase, and will be transplanted and re-fed manure tea in the raised bed garden after the fruit gets larger. But how do I stop these holes from damaging the plant? I haven't seen any critters yet, and the leaves are a healthy colour. Would garlic spray work?
help!
Thanks

Can you provide a better description of these "holes"? Are the edges clean or rough?

There may not be any critters to see if the holes are the result of a mold or fungus. If they are clean holes (i.e. not ragged) I'd suspect slugs munching on them during the night.
