Hi all, not much into geology but I was wondering if I could get an ID on this Rock, or substance. I am up in northdakota, north western part. Found this in some scoria. Want to know if it leaks any toxins while submerged.

Oh how do I add photos??

Thank you, Richard

Oboy Rich, that's what I say. I keep hoping one my PC-expert friends or offspring will explain exactly how it's done most easily

It was explained by But 31 March in a 13-step procedure which I printed and keep in front of me at all times to remind me how ignorant I am but at 84 being unfamiliar with most of the technical terms, I've been reluctant to undertake it. I fear it might require weeks.....

The simplest methods entail the use of a site in the Clouds. The Cloud is a new phenom, containing among many other features sites that help you out free by saving your photos

I've never understand what motivates 'em to do this

Yes. That'd be correct.

That is, it would not be part of the old box of photos in your closet which nobody can see.
