How many square feet of solar collector array would it take to generate 1 kilowatt/hour?

It would depend upon the capacity of the solar collectors but just for rough numbers GE sells 100 Watt panels that measure 12.5 sq. ft each so if you used those you'd be looking at 125 sq. ft. (assuming they'd operate at peak efficency..)
