i went to see Patti LaBelle in the play "your arms too short to box with God" ..sat if the upper tier about 4 rows from the top...when she sang I got goose bumps..the woman can blow...Gladys Knight is a personal favorite as well..Whenever i hear Smokey sing "Cruisin" i melt...and Marvin Gaye also puts me in the mood...nothing like good R&B.
