Your true best friend

Haven't you realize yet?
The best friends for ever are never true.
But you will always have someone that loves you
Your true best friend

The one that you use to call mommy
The one that taught you everything
The one who will alway be there for you
The one who alway got you back
Even in the worst scenarios

And the next time you get grounded
The next time she says do your homework
The next time she tells you to go to your room
The next time you wish she weren't there
Remember all she did for you

Remember that the next time she says I love you
The next time she takes you in her comforting arms
The next time she tucks you in bed
The next time she says "sweet dreams"
The next time she kisses you
Remember it's all just for you

Remember that the next time you leave for school
The time when you will leave her
The time you come back
The time when you have to say goodbye
The time when you will have your own children
Remember that she already misses you

Remember that one day she'll be gone
That one day you'll be gone too
That one day people won't remember you anymore
That you will do great things one day
That she gave you the best gift possible
Remember that she will always remember you

Remember there is none like her
Remember she is always there for you
Remember that she always support you
Remember that she loves you

Remember that she is your true best friend
But also remember it's okay to have other best friends
