Sad Day for Anne of Green Gables Fans: Jonathan Crombie (Gilbert) Dead at 48

his father was a mayor of Toronto and Jonathan was well known and liked in the local theatre scene

it's like we've known him forever

way too young

The books and the television series were a big part of my life. I've got several versions of every book in the series and Anne dolls and quite a few other items.


One item on my bucket list is to visit PEI not only to see Avonlea but also see where my grandmother was born near there.

I don't know anything about him or the books and series, but I gather he was very cared about. Rest in Peace.
