hi all,
would just like to know more information about the daylight hours in scandanavia.
is it true that in the north certain times of the year that there is 24 hours light and other times in the year there is 24 hour darkness?
thanks in advance
Yep it's true icy.
Once I spent some time in the Helsinki area and it didn't turn dark until 22 p.m. - and that darkness still was twilight.
Way up north in that country the effect of the angular position of the globe in respect to the sun should be as drastic as 24h of sunlight.
Yesterday, the sunset in Reykjavik was a little past midnight; sunrise, a little after 2:00 a.m.
But today we won't see any sunset. It is raining.
How DO you sleep Laeknir Scrat?
I hold my stuffed acorn really tight.
