Il Redentore - Catholic church in the Giudecca area in Venice, built in the fifteen hundreds. I've been to Venice, once upon a time, but not been to the Giudecca island.
Fifteen hundreds.. hmmm. I remember that as about the time the first ghetto happened - that happened in Venice, decided by a certain pope whose name I mix up with another about the same time, a Pius or a Paul, I think.
