Klaus Radke
Unlikely if any of you will know of him, as he wasn't particularly famous, but he was a well known guy teaching about the nature of fires in California and how to deal with them, back when I was learning about the CA fire ecology. Very useful teacher, had been with the fire department, if not then, in earlier years, wrote a great/useful guide on the subject.
(I see there is another person with the same name, checking on google, but didn't find him mentioned)
