@Sylvan,
Thank you, Sylvan I've already done that, but obviously I've missed something. I'll try again.

@bennattod,
Thanks for your very good clue for q19. I'm new to this and had posted it in the wrong place!! I'm afraid q50 has me totally beaten even with the clues given by Ramires7.

@Ramires7,
Thank you to everybody for their hints & help. I've made some headway but time is running out and no further forward with 27, 28, 38, and 50.
I'm obviously missing something somewhere?
Help please!

@poiuy,
All these clues have been mentioned previously by various contributors to this Forum: 27 - appears in 2 of the first 3 Christie novels. 28. Google the Four names with one of the Eight Planets. 50. Names of horses who won a prestigious event in consecutive years - flat. Further clue - Sri Lanka in ancient times used to be called 'TAPROBANE' {anagram}.

@Ramires7,
Thank you am googling myself silly!! Got the Sri Lankan anagram ok, have 2 Christie characters in mind but can't find the link, think I've worked out the clue for 38 but that's about all. I know I'm going to kick myself when the answers are revealed. One of these days I'll complete this quiz. Have had a rest from it from a while because it does become addictive and takes up way too much time, don't you think?
