Well I was sick for 2 weeks and apparently I have to write an essay about the similarities and differences between these two books till friday. It says I should take an element from each book and compare it with the other book, what is different and what is the same. Can someone please give me a few similarities or important differences between them so I'll atleast know what to write about. Thx in advance!

Both main characters are craving for an event that would change their lives and the general boring atmosphere of their town.

Are you in that mood too?
