consider f(x,y)= e^(2x^2-3y)+4xy^2. using taylors formula of order 2 compute an approximated value of (1,1)

Progress report.

I've found the piece of paper with all the rough calculations, but most of it is now covered with what looks like tomato ketchup.

I think the answer is something remarkably like 62.8, unless it's upside down which would make it 8.79 or 8.29.

I'll rummage further and see if I can find the final page. I think it's somewhere under the potato peelings.

I hope not, as I have spent the last hour pulling soggy potato peelings off my particulars.

I can now tell you that the answer is one bag of sugar, self raising flour, a large olive oil and a tin of salmon.

No, hang on...that was Tuesday's shopping.

It's here somewhere.......maybe in that old carrier bag down at the bottom.
