NYT article on Ray Charles death today.


Ah, my first date with my first love... Ray Charles at the Shrine Auditorium, fall of 1963. We sat in the back of the balcony, way way up above the stage..

Looking back, RC was in his early thirties then..

Yep. I always loved Ray, no matter what stage his career was in. It was always moving, always beautiful.
