Who is your favorite musical satirist?

Are he/she/they highbrow like PDQ Bach? Political like Mark Russell? Legendary like Weird Al Yankovic? Come in pairs like Flight of the Chonchords? Estrogen heavy like Oates and Garfunkel? Master networkers like Lonely Island? Fiercely independent like Jonathan Coulton? Someone else altogether?

@tsarstepan,
FOR ME its

1. MEL BROOKS THE PRODUCERS, but only the original with Zero Mostel, Gene Wilder, Dick Shhawn and that guy who played the SS playwright.

2. ANYTHING by Gilbert And Sullivan. Its really not so gay, and it can be appreciated no matter how many times you see their shows.

@tsarstepan,
Btw, the last word I would use to describe Weird Al Jankovic is legendary. He doesn't do anything that schoolboys don't already do. The tune is exactly the same, he just changes the words. I remember singing "Five minutes with your Uncle Fred," to The Stranglers Five Minutes (and you're almost dead,) when I was a teenager.

There's always Billy Connolly's ultimate C&W song.

Not exactly what I was asking about. Sorry for the confusion. I was asking standup comics.

I've only seen Connolly on talk shows and in a movie, I knew he was funny but his country music parody had me in stitches. The languid pace made it even funnier.

@glitterbag,
He was a stand up for a very long time before he branched out into acting.
