I have been wondering about what religion i should be practicing. Which one is the right one?
@Joebro13243,
Religion and truth go together like monkeys and jungles.
@Joebro13243,
Each to his own tribe and bunch of trees.
As Rudyard Kipling observed:
There are nine and forty ways
Of constructing tribal lays
And every single one of them is right.
@Joebro13243,
Visit several houses of worship of the various flavors of religion in your local area to experience the seasonings used in their recipe. You will know it if and when you find one that satisfies your needs.

It's always one of the other ones. Sorry, man. I don't make the rules.
@Joebro13243,
If you've managed without religion until now continuing on as you are seems like a more sensible option than trying to make yourself believe in someone else's imaginary friend.
Religion is a wonderful invention; but then again, so is a bicycle repair kit.
Something I heard somewhere years ago.
@tsarstepan,
Or that other one. I forget the name. I think it had something to do with a fish. Or maybe a bird. But it's definitely right up there.
Under what context do you seek the "true" religion? for whatever moral code or belief system you wish to entangle yourself within, there is undoubtedly a religion that fits your specification.
Essentially if you are looking for a religion that best fits what you understand of your gods requirements, I would advise three things. Study the personality of the god you wish to serve according to the holy texts he is presented within, learn his ways and test religions against them. You will eventually find a religion that you will consider to be true. Even then, I would advise a continual reassessment.
I would also advise prayer, if the god you believe in exists and your efforts are honest, I am sure he will help you in your efforts.
do not allow another man or indeed woman to tell you what is truth, for every man will tell you his way is truth as no man follows a way he considers to be false.
Good luck my friend.

Do you mean The Church of The Flying Spaghetti Monster? ......or Pastafarians, as we prefer to be called nowadays.
Our God is the Pasta, we followers are the sauce.
Tomarto or tomayto, everyone is welcome!
Bring your own Parmeggiano-Reggiano.
@Joebro13243,
How do those who profess the faith treat fellow members of different race, nationality, or social standing? See John 13: 34, 35.
@Joebro13243,
Come and seek the truth, fellow tomarto........

@Lordyaswas,
Uh oh! I just washed down a plate of pasta with a growler of IPA. Have I offended your god?

I refer you back to my first post in this thread:

Arsulus is the true religion. I know, because I made it up just now, so I am the authority. The god Arsula, in ancient times known as Upyrarseyoushdlook, splattered the universe with a golf club, creating what science calls the big bang, but Arsula called a lot of censored names, because he/she bogied. In his anger, he said, there should be a place where people suffer, golf players in particular. And, so, the planet Earth came to be.
