Alright, well I've owned this painting for a few months now. I'm a painter
myself, and I believed it had some serious ideas in it and purchased it--well,
it's definitely older, as parts of the more impasto paint is cracked, and I'm
sure the painting could use a good cleaning (phone photography does no justice
as well) It's about 4 feet tall, and 2 1/2 wide. There is absolutely no
signature on it, sadly. I carefully took it out of the frame, and tried looking,
but nothing. The canvas itself is hand stretched as well. The frame is the only
clue to this really. It has written on the back "Dryden" and " Flat black
Dryden" with the number 6207. It really looks like a follower of Da Silva, and I figured it couldn't hurt to try and ask if you or someone could help me know SOMETHING about this. I tried contacting Dryden, but they never answered me.
Thank you!
