Good Friday morning from a chilly radio station here in Florida.

ehBeth, Steven doing John Barley Corn was funny. Hurry back, gal

Izz with a y, Great quote from King Lear, but not certain about that funny picture.

First, another great Joan Baez song:

@izzythepush,
Thanks, Izz with a y. You sent me searching.Timon of Athens is a collaborative play by William Shakespeare and perhaps Thomas Middleton about the fortunes of an Athenian named Timon

Today is Hank Williams III birthday, and here is Hank I to sing a great old time song.

Hope you liked Joe Williams and Joan Baez.

And these are of them.

Good SATURN's Day here in our Florida Studio.

izz with a y, as you know, I love those quotes from MacBeth. Don't know Sybil Gardner, however, and I'm assuming that you don't mean Basil Rathbone. Razz

Welcome back, farmerman. Like Allisonj Krauss and that man.

Two songs for the morning here: First Celtic Lady and chorus:

@Letty,
I don't think any of us know Sybil Gardner. As I've pointed out, quite a few times now, I'm writing out the pages of a book I bought at a car boot sale. The book it called Shakespeare Birthday Book, and there is a Shakespeare quotation for every day of the week, plus a space to write in birthdays. These birthdays obviously meant something to the book's original owner, (one Audrey Athey, probably long dead,) but I wouldn't expect them to mean anything to the rest of us.

After googling it, I found it was published in 1910, and judging on the handwriting I would estimate Audrey was somewhere between 8 and 12 when she got it, which, were she still alive today, would make her at least 116 years old.

I'm just posting the birthdays of long dead friends/relatives of a long dead girl, just to give a sense of the history of unknown people. If you find it a bit too much I can always stop.
