@George,
Good morning to you, dear friend.

Cotton Eyed Joe was a southerner like my Robert E. Lee.

Sorry if I missed commenting on your other songs.

Love Morning Dance bySpyro.

As you know, it's doesn't have to be Sunday to listen to a hymn.

Hope you will listen to the two songs that I just played.

Back in a bit as my back is still bitten.

@Letty,
The Manhattan Transfer does a great job on "Sing, You Sinners".

This one is a little sad, but I like it.

@George,
ah, great to see you back in our florida radio station. thanks for your
comments.

Your Steely Dan reminded me of this one:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QZjJU-mtFU

I remember in the Presbyterian church we had funny parodies on church music sometimes.

Here's one:

Hallelujah I'm a bum; Hallelujah bum again.
Hallelujah give me a hand out.
You just revived me again. Smile

Poor Paul Simon, but I loved that one by him.

Here's a birthday guy:

Thanks again for being my friend. Hope those
songs work as I've been having a bit of trouble with
the equipment in our station

@George,
Ah, dear friend, thanks for you comment, and I really enjoyed

Jerry Lee Drinking Wine, as well as Pine Leaf doing that song.

That name was funny.

Going to take a brief break, but I'll be back later.

I never cared for Buddy Holly but he did inspire me to
remember this lovely hymn:

I thought you would have liked that quartet doing That's What Friends Are For.

I've always love The Andrew Sisters and Slim Gaillard and Bam Brown doing
Hit That Jive Jack was great. It reminded me of "hit the road Jack " but I won't go into that funny one.

Three hymns for today.
