@George,
Good Friday morning here, dear friend. The reason that my format
has changed is because I can no longer see the visuals. <sniff>

Hurry back my dear friend from Ireland. Loved that Nina.

Three songs for the morning here:

First, another Nina:

and, another:

I introduced my students to Barry because he was a history mystery.

Now, for my friend McTag. We both had scottish genes

Well, y'all, I can see them today.

@Letty,
Celtic Woman did a fine rendition of "You Raise Me Up".

Here is one from a former professional surfer from Hawaii.

Back in a bit, dear friend. Have to take another catless nap as I stayed up too
late. Ah, I love cookies. Smile

@George,
Loved all of your Friday songs, dear friend, and Dean's song reminded me of
the pun you once made:
When you step on an eel and it bites at your heel that amore. Smile

Thinking of The University of Virginia today because of Edgar Allan Poe. Many of us walked around trying to find his memorial site and found nothing.

Here's a brief bio of that fantastic man:

A pane of glass taken from the window of Room 13, West Range, is on display in the University’s Rotunda. According to legend, Poe etched the following stanza into this pane sometime before his unfortunate departure:

Now, The Raven:

Remembering when I had eye surgery, my Beth played this for me.

@George,
as you know, my Christian friend, it doesn't have to be Sunday
to enjoy hymns. Odd, George, I was concerned about my daughter
and what a delight to get a phone call from her just now. Incidentally,
thanks for your comment on Perry and Cyd.

Here's another:

Odd, I have a ceramic bust of Jesus on the table by my sofa,
and I took a cat nap and when I awakened, his eyes were looking
up at me. Wow!

another history mystery. We'll never know what happened to
Edgar Allan Poe. <sniff>

@George,
ah, dear friend, I'm sorry that I chased you away.

Missed the saturday dance, heared they crowed the floor. Don't get around much any more.

Thinking of Walt Whitman saying I think I could turn and live with animals.

Hope you will play some more, George.

@eurocelticyankee,
well, my Irish friend, you and I have a lot in common.

I won't play another by Matt Monroe, because it makes
me too sad. <sniff>

Saying good afternoon now with another sad but lovely poem:

Strange, I though George and I were Christians.
