@George,
Thanks again for your comment, my Christian friend. Taj Mahal Cakewalking into town was fantastic. I love looking at the photo of that East Indian palace.

Well Charles edgar, no tornadoes, so in my mind's eye I can see you. Smile

Three songs for the morning here:

First Memorial Day:

Now Babs remembering Robert Redford

Water colored memories of the way we were:

I painted a bird with a green crown its head from a tray table.

Now, a collection of beautiful birds but I could not find the one that I did:

@Letty,
I had never heard that Memorial Day song before. It was moving.

Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer.
This one is dedicated to all beachgoers.

@George,
Ah, my Christian friend, all of my original family except my sister Anne (RIP)
was in the military.

The theme song from Jaws was great. John Williams has done many
themes.

Big Bird, Handsome Man and Gipsy King were good as well.

Saying good afternoon now with more memories.

I became fascinated with this man when Babs sang about him:

Born on August 18, 1936, in Santa Monica, California, Robert Redford has proved to be one of the great talents in American film, starring in classics such as The Sting, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Candidate and The Way We Were.

Here's a funny trailer:

I love this was by Elton John:

Now, remembering memories that are precious:

It's always good to have you with us here in Florida.

From Letty with love to the world.

@George,
Ah, my long time friend, thanks for keeping our Florida radio station going:

All of our listeners like what you play here. Love Johnny doing I Walk the Line.

as well as Trouble in Mind.

I have a doctor's appointment today so I'm here a bit early.

First, remembering when I called you Latin George, and it was inspired by
this Canadian Jazz man and sung by Nancy Wilson:

I think Reyn's lovely bride was spelled:

ViVienne, but I'M not certain.

Miss my long time friend Roger. I hope he is alright.<sniff>

I read The Wizard of Oz and Dorothy never left Kansas.

Well, I think I'll whine on purpose with this one.

One of my favorites by Pavarotti.

The stars seemed to shimmer
The sweet scents of the garden,
The creaking gate seemed to whisper,
And a footstep skimmed over the sand.
Then she came in, so fragrant,
And fell into my arms!
Oh! sweet kisses, oh, languorous caresses,
While I, trembling, was searching
For her features, concealed by her mantle.
My dream of love faded away, for good!
Everything's gone now.
I'm dying hopeless, desperate!
And never before have I loved life like this!
And never before have I loved life like this!

@George,
Good Monday morning here from our Florida radio station.

Thanks for your comments and I hope you enjoyed the three hymns
I played yesterday:

Jesus Rose of Sharon
Ave Maria
and The Holly and the Ivy.

Love Simon and Garfunkel doing At the Zoo. (poor Paul)

Also the Commodores Easy

Of course Diana Krall (broad a)

Morgan, that was a great version Of Pavarotti

three songs for the morning here.

First Bon Jovi:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vx2u5uUu3DE

Now, dear JFK.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9vJ5oLnqOY

As you all know, I met him. <sniff>

Now, one I turned into a poem:

1 In the temple, in the temple
Stood a little boy one day,
And the doctors wondered greatly
At the words they heard Him say.

Refrain:
It was Jesus! It was Jesus!
It was Jesus standing in the temple there
But the light of heav’n was shining
In His face so pure and mild.

My temple is better..
