@George,
Glad you didn't get your picture on the cover of those guys. Smile

Love it, and it's sunny and warm here as well.

Here's our poem for today and inspired by you:

Mary Howitt:

“Will you walk into my parlour?” said the Spider to the Fly,
'Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy;
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I've a many curious things to show when you are there.”

“Oh no, no,” said the little Fly, “to ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair
-can ne'er come down again.”

@George,
I had a spider once that I called daddy long legs. Although he has a bit
of poison in him, he couldn't puncture the skin.

Now a great one to match:

@George,
Good morning to all from our Florida radio station.

Ah, George, I wish Sam had gotten Good News.

Old Blue Eyes doing that coffee song was funny and good

Welcome back, Mon Ami and I enjoyed both La Madonna
and John Allen.

How about some golden oldies again:

@Letty,
Hi Letty! I like Enya more than I care to admit.

A nice cover from a Mort Shuman's 70s song:
Barbaz - Allo Papa Tango Charly

Here's the original:

Mort Shuman (November 12, 1938 – November 2, 1991) was an American singer, pianist and songwriter, best known as co-writer of many 1960s rock and roll hits, including "Viva Las Vegas". He also wrote and sang many songs in French, such as "Le Lac Majeur", "Allo Papa Tango Charlie", "Sha Mi Sha", "Un Eté de Porcelaine", and "Brooklyn by the Sea" which became hits in France.

@Olivier5,
Thanks for your comment on Enya, dear friend.

I love both of your versions of Tango Charly, but as you
know, the origina is always the best. Thse gals in red
were fantastic.

I trembeled a bit last night and thought of this
fabulous composer:

@Olivier5,
"La Madonna delle Conchiglie" reminded me of Italian folk music.
I didn't quite "get" the lyrics, though.

Time for some high culture

@George,
Was that the barber of Seville, dear George.

The best thing to do when you want to play what we play
here is to ask permission.

Saying good afternoon a bit early as I didn't sleep too well last evening:

Here is Schubert again:
