@George,
ah, dear friend, so glad that you are alright. Your prayers for
me always worked, glad mine did for you.

Funny one for April Fools day. "fool me once, your fault; fool me twice
my fault.: Smile

Loved Paul doing Diamonds as well as Weird Al doing Bologna.

Another funny quote for April:

spring has sprumg, the grass has riz, I wonder
where the flowers is, the bird's on wing now
that's absurd, everyone kowns the wing's on the bird.

Three songs for the morning here.

First, a tribute to a birthday gal:

Now, a funny one:

@jcboy,
Ah, Morgan, it is alway good to see you here. Dido's song was great. Hope
Mark is alright.

As edgar has often noted, one doesn't have to be a theist to enjoy
church music.

Saying good afternoon now with a beautiful hymn:

another quote from that uncle:

His manmy dreamed of polka dots and that's how the leopard

@George,
Awfully nice to hear Booker Ervin! One of my favorite tenormen with his distinctive sound. Despite his solid output he doesn't get nearly enough appreciation.

Here he is along with another underrated player, Bill Barron. After Bill Barron's solo, Booker comes in around 3:38 and they start trading fours at 6:05.

@George,
well, my Cristian friend, going to say good afternoon now as I'm
having some proplems.

First, Fairest Lord Jesus..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6qdbGsmpyw

Now, the lyrics:

Fairest Lord Jesus,
Ruler of all nature,
O Thou of God and man the Son,
Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor,
Thou, my soul's glory, joy and crown.
Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands,
Robed in the blooming garb of spring;
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer,
Who makes the woeful heart to sing.
Fair is the sunshine,
Fairer still the moonlight,
And all the twinkling starry host;
Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer
Than all the angels heaven can boast.

Now, the man with the Velvet voice:

@George,
Good morning, dear friend. Are you still home sick? I just wondered
if you had moved. Glad you liked Miami Beach Rumba. More about that beach
later.

Love Alabama Shakes doing Hold On.

Here's a song by a guy that I didn't used to like, but hearing this
made me change my mind:

Well, dear friend, you said you were home sick, that is
why I wondered.

Loved Mark Prince doing Rights of Passage.

Strange how we change. I never liked this Johnny until recently.

Miami Beach was boring. Just sand and water and nothing else.

@George,
Now I understand. You meant you were ill. Home sick usually means that
you wish you were home again.

Two more birthday people today.

First, Marlon Brando:

Now, Doris Day:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grkiYY5fpJY

I agree that some expressions are confusing. Back later dear friend.
