@George,
Ah, my long time friend, thanks for keeping our Florida
radio going.

Love The Everly Brothers song as well as well as Grace and
the Nocturnals doing that Paris song. (they could also have
said "Oo la la la, say magnifique" Smile

Also enjoyed Teddy doing I can't Love Without Your Loving.

Four songs for Monday here:

@Letty,
"Rainy Night in Georgia" is pretty but melancholy. Mood music.

"Cielito Lindo" is one I've heard before, but never knew the name of.

@George,
This is something I like to do, play songs with a 'theme'. Not always as obvious as this one, but gotta start somewhere.

@yitwail,
That's a strange theme.
But you have the freedom to choose it.

@George,
So happy that we still have our Florida radio station going thanks
to my green sea turtle Honu and my Christian friend George.

The Doors doing When You're Strange was great as was Sergio and Brasil
doing Chelsea Morning.

Things are going a little better here, and maybe much better later.

Two golden oldies now:

First, Grease:

Now, Casablanca:

Say a prayer for me, y'all.

@Letty,
I remember seeing Grease in Boston when it was in tryout.
"The fundamental things apply . . . " and still do.

@George,
Loved both of those songs, dear friend, especially since the clown was in
them.

Going to say good afternoon a bit early as I have a doctor's appointment
today.

Here's another clown:

Now, a funny memory from my dad.

Some guy was reading a poem on stage and wasn't doing
it too well:

When Greece her knees in supliance bent
When Greece her knees in supliance bent.

Dad said: "Grease her knees on more time, and maybe she'll go."Smile

From Letty with hope for tomorrow.

@Letty,
I'm not much of an opera guy, but I liked Pavarotti's "Ridi".

One last clown for today

Édith Piaf -- Bravo Pour Le Clown

@George,
Yes, dear friend, that clown knew how to laugh.

You sent me searching concerning Edith:

Édith Piaf was a French cabaret singer, songwriter and actress who became widely regarded as France's national chanteuse, as well as being one of France's greatest international stars.

Once again, thanks for the memory. Smile

Three more memories now.

First, this man:

Now, a dreamer:

and a spider that I had and called him daddy long legs.
What a surprise that it referred to this fantastic dancer:
