@George,
Love Paperback Writer that the fab four, dear friend.

I got kicked by a brick once, but I like Jethro's thick as a brick better. Smile

Saying good afternoon a bit early, but I have so many things to do.

I remember a better time now. I went to see my Dave when he
was in the hospital, and I sang the Shake, Rattle, and Roll
by the fab four and he grinned from ear to ear. Smile

First a classic that will always be here:

Now, Jethro:

and, now, Roy and Trigger

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CtV4LaipoM

I'll never understand why I can't find Old Faithful by him.

From Letty with love to both of us, George. Smile

@Letty,
"Moonlight Sonata" was very relaxing.
A good thing as the day winds down.

@Letty,
That's the first time I've heard "Skating Away", as far as I recall.
It's a good song.

@George,
ah, my dear friend George, thanks for all the comments
you made on the songs that I played yesterday.

Really enjoyed those Mamas and Papas doing I Saw Her Again.

Here's a song that says it right:

Now, the first one that I heard by dear Billy Joel:

@Letty,
"That's What Friends Are For" certainly does say it right.

I always enjoy a Billy Joel number.

Visited my daughter and son-in-law and my grandson last night.
Max (he's two) always brings a smile to my face.
He informed me very solemnly that there were "no more presents".
Just as well -- he got a stack of them over the holidays!

@George,
Thanks again for your comments, dear friend, and your visit to your
daughter , son-in-law and adorable grand son warmed my heart.

Lovre Sergio and Brasil 66 doing Mas Que Nada.

As I have often noted, the most powerful words in the English
language consist of four letters.

Love this song, y'all:

@George,
Ah, my dear friend, Love Ride the River, and I appreciate
your comments on what we play here.

The reason that I was concerned about my friend
Roger is that he didn't respond to the emails that I sent him.

We both agreed that we should use our own names to keep
us from sounding like others.

For example I did one calle Roger the Lodger and I didn't
want him to feel associated with him.

Well lets rise and sing, y'all.

Now, one to match your river:

Now, thinking about Perry Como again:

@Letty,
That's the first time I've heard "Rise and Sing".

I liked Bette Midler's "The Rose", but I also enjoyed LeeAnn Rimes.

That Perry Como number was terrific. Wow, did he look young!

@Letty,
"Annie Get Your Gun" was from the Golden Age of musicals and it had some
great songs including "I Got the Sun in the Morning". (I also loved the Thai
subtitles!)
