@George,
Here's for all of you here, dear friends:

First, remembering the Roaring Twenties:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_22gJ5kB31k

Hey, George, was Ella and the Mills Brother dedicated to
Beth and me. ? Smile

ehBeth, loved To Cut a Long Story short and Echo Beach was great.

Well, George, loved that French song and you were right on our
Canadian friend.

Well, today is our edgar's avatar's birthday, so let's remember
Mark:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DWa8WkaS-Y

and, y'all, a memory jog:

"The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County" is an 1865 short story by Mark Twain. It was his first great success as a writer and brought him national attention.

@George,
Thanks for the comment, dear friend, and Camille Howard doing Schubert's Serenade Boogie was hilarious. It reminded me of the first time I saw Camille St Saen then I learned it was pronounced San Son.

Saying good afternoon with three songs.

First, a request from my Beth and she told me to say Hi to
you and ehBeth.

Magic Moment by Jaye and the Americans:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpePWo56zm4

Now, a children's version of the days of Christmas:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIFqnEoctI4

Now a lovely version of Schubert's Serenade:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpA0l2WB86E

I used to know the lyrics to that one, but I have forgotten most
of them.

From Letty with love to everyone here.

Oliver Jones is retiring. Again.

I hustled out to see him on his 2000 retirement mini-tour.

Seems it's like real this time.

Oliver is a cousin of the late, great Oscar Peterson. They started with the same piano teacher back in Montreal, more than 80 years ago.

jazzzzzzzz piano

@ehBeth,
Ah dear Beth, hurry back to our radio station here in Florida. Listened to
all of your contributions and I am so sorry that I can't comment on each one.

I did get a laugh out of DingDongDaddy from Dumas. because I
recall the one that referred to a woman.

She's a ding dong lady from Punkin corner you out to see her
strut. She's a whiz bang Mamma and a bear cat baby and a wampus
kitty. Smile

Happy firrst of December, everyone.

Here are some songs that match:

@ehBeth,
Well, Beth, you and George and I are three of a kind.

Hope he has his decorations all up and shinning and you as well.

Guess I had better say good afternoon now as my Beth and I have
decorated out fireplace mantle with green vines and roses as well as
our Christmas wreath in now on our door.

Another beautiful song:

@George,
Good morning from our Florida radio station, dear friend.

Loved both of your songs:

That Blues Band with Peter Green saying: If You Let Me Love You
was great as was Stevie Wonder doing Don't Worry About a Thing.

Three songs for the morning here:

First Doris Day (she is still with us)

Now, thinking of our green sea turtle who said that he would
have to work throughout Christmas:

Now, remembering David Bowie again. <sniff>

@Letty,
Good morning, Letty.

We actually spent Christmas in Hawaii one year. It was strange to be up to
my keister in water in Waimea Bay rather than in snow in Stoneham. I
wasn't complaining, though.
