@George,
Ah, dear George, Love that version of In the Mood, and I did Lionel Hampton's version as well. Three of my original family were vets

Filipe, I think all of us love Leonard Cohen. Dance me to the End of Love was fabulous.

I always enjoy what ehBeth plays here and appreciate her comments as well.

Now, a real surprise. Leonard moved from Canada to the USA to involve himself in the Marines. That man was brilliant:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufYpfqaVlnY

and a poem written by that fantastic Leonard:

I Wonder How Many People in This City from "The Spice-Box of Earth"

I wonder how many people in this city
live in furnished rooms.
Late at night when i look out at the buildings
I swear I see a face in every window
looking back at me
and when I turn away
I wonder how many go back to their desks
and write this down.

@Letty,
I suddenly feel like putting on baggy green clothes and marching.
No, I don't.

@George,
Funny, dear friend. Don't blame you for feeling that way.

I loved ehBeth's Moon Shadow by Cat Stevens.

Can any one of you believe that it was 45 degrees here in Flagler Beach?

No flags waving here wither.

Well, here's a WWI trio:

@George,
Hey, dear friend, wonder if there are any Viet Nam vets here.

When I talked about it being 45 degrees here I thought of the cold war:

@George,
I love Old Crow's Medicine Show doing Wagon Wheel, my long time friend.

Three songs for today.

First, Rodin. It's his birthday, and the only one I know by
that sculpture is The Thinker:

Now, a birthday gal:

@George,
Ah, George, remembering happier times. when my late husband and his jazz
band did that one. Incidentally, the reason I did The Thinker was because
it was one on the mountain where I could look down and see the property
owned by my ancestors and also remember UVA

Also, loved Bill Evans:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2LFVWBmoiw

I sang the lyrics to that one. Here are part of them

The night is like a lovely tune
Beware, my foolish heart
How white the ever constant moon
Take care, my foolish heart
There's a line between love and fascination
That's hard to see on an evening such as this
For they both give the very same sensation
When you are lost in the magic of a kiss

@George,
Ah, Letty, you just chased your friend George away.

Maybe Paul and "the boss" will get him back:
