@George,
Ah, dear friend, glad that you enjoyed that canon.

The Lumineers doing In The Light was great and reminded me
of this this funny one, followed by an explorer whose birthday is today:

@George,
Once again replying to all:

ehBeth, In the Light was great as was Paper Bird, dear George.

Fangs for the Mammeries? that made me laugh for the first time
in a long time.

How about a funny one to begin the day.

First, Mozart:

Now, the parody:

Now, y'all, a birthday guy, and I had no idea that Paul wrote
The Sound of Silence:

I enjoyed the Mozart and giggled at the parody.

That tune keeps coming up as the background to something else,
but I never knew where it was from.

I've loved "Sounds of Silence" since I first heard it.

@George,
Hurry back, dear George and welcome back, pushman. Alan a Dale reminded me of a fairy tale, and I'm still young at heart, Frank.

Peter Cook and Dudley Moore were a great team.
I first saw them in the original Bedazzled.

@George,
Great to see you back with us again, dear friend, and loved that version of Stranger to my Happiness by Sharon and those Kings. Smile

Thinking of my late sister Anne now, and we changed the lyrics
all the time to songs.

We called it Sam and Janet evening.

Just found the book that she sent me for my birthday so long ago.
