So long ago, our edgar said he had feet of lead, and it reminded me of
this group:

Calling Latin George. Smile

Looks as though we're back to the old days of radio.

Two contributions for now. First, another history mystery.

Everything was done live in the old days of radio. I did both of these
then.

Here's a wonderful memory of Johnny and Edgar:

Remembering EuroGeorge now. Miss you dear friend.

A memory of happier times when he said that this was my
signature song. (my hair has changed its own color)

Good "thor's Day morning" from here in our Florida radio station.

Ah, my long time friend, Latin George, hurry back and thanks
for your comment on Billy Joel.

Love those songs I'M Just A Lucky So and So as well as Hit the Jive Jack
by that delightful Canadian lady.

My best memories are framed pictures and I look at my husband and Brucie
sitting in rocking chairs at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant and I smile, but
when I was there, those wooden chairs made my back a bit "thor". Smile

Let's begin our day with with a poem and a couple of great songs:

William Blake:
A Poison Tree
I was angry with my friend:
I told my wrath, my wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe:
I told it not, my wrath did grow.
And I watered it in fears,
Night and morning with my tears;
And I sunned it with smiles,
And with soft deceitful wiles.
And it grew both day and night,
Till it bore an apple bright.
And my foe beheld it shine.
And he knew that it was mine,
And into my garden stole
When the night had veiled the pole;
In the morning glad I see
My foe outstretched beneath the tree.

@Letty,
"A Poison Tree" made me shudder a little. Suppressed resentment is a
dangerous thing, indeed. It reminds me of Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado".

Your three songs were fun to listen to.

Ah, dear friend, I realize why The Poison Tree made you shutter. Like Poe, if you are not moved by poems and short stories, then the composer has fallen
out of creativity. Dear Poe had bi polar disorder and it happens to creative people.

Loved Michael Buble doing Money Can't by Me Love.

Here's a birthday gal, now:

If they do the scrubbin bubble commercial, then it was influence by Michael. Smile

@Letty,
Poe is one powerful writer, and we'll never know how he died, Letty.

Sorry, I've been talking to myself at lot recently. Smile
