Good Friday morning here in our Florida radio station.

Mr. Creator, love Dwight doing Streets of Bakerfield as well as
dear Ray singing Born to Lose.

Latin Geroge, So Long Big Time by Tony was really good. Odd, I thought that
Toulouse LauTrek was a French artist

Love this song by Buck:

@edgarblythe,
Oops, I lost my original script, dear friend, but I love Tom T. Hall doing
Old Dogs and Children and Watermelon Wine.

I never think of children that I don't recall my Dave having a sprig of hair
that stood up on the back of his head, and we called him rooster tail.

Here's one acting up:

"Brewster's rooster don't crow like he uster."

Back later, I hope. Smile

Good Saturday morning from our radio station here in Florida.

Mr. Creator, I truly enjoyed Red Foley and Pat Boone doing that song.

Also Gentleman Jim doing Mexican Joe.

Inspired by Pat, I always remember this one:

That one will continue to be another history mystery.

Dear Edgar Allan Poe. He also had bi polar disorder.

His is our version read aloud. I am stunned by the way he
Pronounces "the tomb". Smile

Now, a Delta band to match your "going down to New Orleans" song.

Just a brief commentary, y'all. I stay with our radio because I have
commented or replied to many of the others here. Also because I worked
in several radio stations. As a great guy once observed:

"music and poetry is my Passion. " Smile

How about some more songs now.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Mr. Creator, it's always good to see you here, and thanks for your comments.

I love Ella May Morse, and you sent me searching again.

“Rip Van Winkle” is such a well-known tale that almost every child in the United States has read it or heard it narrated at one time or another. Rip is a simple-minded soul who lives in a village by the Catskill Mountains. Beloved by the village, Rip is an easygoing, henpecked husband whose one cross to bear is a shrewish wife who nags him day and night.

Somehow, that reminded me of "the headless horseman."

Here's Johnny Depp:

@edgarblythe,
ah, dear friend, I loved Judy singing Colorado the Blizzard, and I know what
she means. I use to get hypothermia all the time when there was a blizzard in
West Virginia. It's one of the reasons we moved to Florida, then there appeared hurricane season. Not this year, however. Smile

Here's another famous producer, and today is his birthday:
