@edgarblythe,
I keep forgetting about the time difference, dear friend, and I love that golden oldie by George and here's one to match:

It's also Ross Perot's birthday, but I won't go into
politics.

Loved that song, So in Love With You Am I. Kismet Kate was funny.

Here's one from "the man in black". Love it, too.

@edgarblythe,
You're right, Mr. Creator, I liked Perry doing Mountain Greene better.

Wow! Loved Neil and Bobby doing that great song. That was new to me
and you know how I enjoy being introduced to ones that I don't know.

Going to say good afternoon a bit early as I'm having a few problems. Are you surprised? Smile

First, The velvet fog doing that same version:

Now, the man with the golden voice:

Hurry back, Mr Creator, I remember someone singing: Please Mr. Custer, I don't want to go. I like your version better.

McTag, the reason that I like Sammy Davis is because I sang What Kind of fool Am I on stage.

Three songs for the day here in our Florida radio station:

First, dear Billy Joel:

Now, a hippie song:

Now, "the boss". Smile

Ah, I wish all of my friends were here. Somehow, I thought of this strange guy, but first some info:

Caligula was the popular nickname of Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, Roman emperor. Born Gaius Julius Caesar Germanicus, Caligula was a member of the house of rulers conventionally known as the Julio-Claudian dynasty.

This movie was not accepted as popular:

I would show my students odd movies and ask them to write what they thought.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! Mr. Creator, I had no idea that Odetta did House of the Rising Sun. I love to be introduced to different versions of that song. As we all know, there really was a House of the Rising Sun.

Thanks for your comment on Johnny.

Remembering Rockhead Jon in happier times.

He told me: "sorry miss Letty: I sole your snow thread".

I told him: "Well, I stole your pants". Smile
