I thought I posted this yesterday, but see I didn't. That one was by the Boss, but I think I like the Johnny Cash version.

Good early morning from a very still radio station here in Florida.

Just a reminder. Although I appreciate the thumbs up, we don't use it here,
because it doesn't match our format.

Always good to see yitwail here, and Celine doing that Italian concert on harpsichord was great.

I'm On Fire was also a great one , my dear friend Roger.

Mr. Creator, also enjoyed Vaughn doing In the Middle of the House.

Well, y'all, Two songs for the early morming here.

First, Leonard:

Now, Joan and John:

Ah, Mr. Creator, I didn't know Anticipation by Carly, but when I first heard her sing You're So Vain, I became totally infatuated with that song. Later she confessed it was about a gay record producer.

When I hear the line, "Letty Betty, wish me luck", I think that one was from dear Bert.

Some how, that inspired me to do three songs for the morning here:

First, Billy Joel:

Now, Michael. Not to worry about his third leg as it doesn't show. Smile

Now, a great theme song:

Calling all of my friends. Smile

A birthday guy, George Orwell:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gPo9loeNuE

Now, a brief plot to the guy's book:

Winston Smith is a low-ranking member of the ruling Party in London, in the nation of Oceania. Everywhere Winston goes, even his own home, the Party watches him through telescreens; everywhere he looks he sees the face of the Party’s seemingly omniscient leader, a figure known only as Big Brother. The Party controls everything in Oceania, even the people’s history and language. Currently, the Party is forcing the implementation of an invented language called Newspeak, which attempts to prevent political rebellion by eliminating all words related to it. Even thinking rebellious thoughts is illegal. Such thoughtcrime is, in fact, the worst of all crimes.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Mr. Creator, it's always good to see you here.

Love The Hilltoppers doing All Day all night Marianne.

Here's another golden oldie inspired by my late husband,
when he remarked about our German shepherd who was
named Ebony. He was a guard dog. Keep Eb tied. Smile

@edgarblythe,
Mr. Creator, I think it was Ringo who said that Paul was dead.

Glad that you liked Ebb Tide, dear friend.

One of favorites by The Fab Four:

@Letty,
What Ringo actually said was "cranberry sauce". Here's an encore by Art Blakey & perhaps his finest Messengers unit featuring Freddie Hubbard and Wayne Shorter, on a bossa nova, which is a change of pace for the usually hard-charging Mr. Blakey.
