Good morning all. It's sunny here in our Florida radio station, but needs to warm up a bit.
Latin George, hurry back and I think Bill might have done "I know" at least twenty times. Love those boys doing blues as well as your quintet doing that Washington song. Smile

You hurry back as well blytheedgar and I hope you slept well. Love Jerry Lee
of course.

Well, I was lucky to get my radio station working again.

Here's one to match our creator's turning in. Smile

Now, a fabulous birthday man:

Hope all of my friends will be with us today.

@George,
ah, Latin George, glad you're back with us. I love that golden oldie.

This gal always reminds me of Olivier 5.

and, y'all, I just found out that TCM is going to make a movie of Janis Joplin's entire life. <sniff>

I think we all know her best for this one:

@edgarblythe,
Always good to see you here, Mr. Creator. Didn't know A Piece of my Heart Janis did by those brothers. It was a great one.

Another classical composer's birthday:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t894eGoymio

Now, part of the lyrics:

Brahms's Lullaby (Lullaby and Goodnight)

Lullaby and goodnight, with roses bedight
With lilies o'er spread is baby's wee bed
Lay thee down now and rest, may thy slumber be blessed.

I just saw Bugs Bunny at the piano so we'll dedicate that one to Tsar. Smile

Another funny memory, y'all. I recall having told Filipe and Robert that I had learned a lot from them, then I recall one of my students saying:

You learned me more than any teacher here. Smile

Another great birthday guy:

As edgar knows, I never used to care for Johnny Cash, but when I heard him sing this, I changed my mind. In my ancestral home, there was a grandfather's clock. He also did The Ballad of the Harp Weaver:

I hope everyone's friends will be back in our radio station.

I first became enchanted with Hawaii when I red Mitchner's book.

Here's Hank the snow man, singing about the little fish with the big name. Smile

We'll dedicate that one to our Canadian friends.

Here's another legend from TCM.

Maybe our sea lovers will be back with us.

I'll swim back later. Smile

Well, it's Sunday here and bright and sunny.

I really don't understand about edgar. <sniff>

How about a couple of secular songs now.

I recall awakening in the night and hearing this one.

Now, a theme song to a great TV show:

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Mr. Creator, glad you are back with us.

Red doing Roses for Mamma was great, and it reminded me of dear Sam Cooke:

I missed the Saturday dance as well, Sam.

missed the saturday dance
Heard they crowded the floor
Couldn't bear it without you
Don't get around much anymore

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Mr. Creator I love Harry doing Unchained Melody.

Happy Mother's Day everyone. I called my mother Mama.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVBdF2QU3Kk

My Mama lived to be 93, and she didn't die, she just stopped living
because she had to go stay with my older sister. The only medicine
they had then was sulfa and she was allergic to it it as am I.

I still have my Mamma's Rosewood Casket on my cedar chest.
