@edgarblythe,
I used to walk on wild roads all the time, edgar, because I like primitive things.

Jerry Lee doing Flip Flop Fly was funny and great.

Speaking of flying, we used to have humming birds down here, and now the only birds I see are egrets and sometimes owls.

North to Alaska? I don't think so:

Sometimes the hummingbirds are so numerous here, it looks like a hive of swarming giant insects.

@edgarblythe,
Well, edgar, I believe in spring just like Rita, but "the misty Miss Christy" has a different interpretation. Smile

@edgarblythe,
It was sad, Mr. Creator. Love that golden oldie. Well, I guess we'll all be dreaming of another happy thing tomorrow, so here is Perry to say good afternoon for me.

Hope everyone here has a Happy Easter.

Mr. Creator and ehBeth, y'all hurry back.

edgar, thanks for your comment on Perry, and I loved Gene doing Peter Cottontail.

Bethie, really enjoyed Joe and B.B. doing that song.

Happy Easter, everyone. As we all know, Christmas celebrated Jesus' birthday
and Easter, his restoration. Both contain secular and religious songs.

First, a secular one to match edgars:

Now, the hymn:

@edgarblythe,
Same to you, Mr. Creator, and thanks once again for that version of Amen by Harry. Love it! Robert was a bit risque, however.

Here's another:

I don't think Perry would write a sonnet about these hats. Smile

edgar, here are the lyrics that my dad and I sang before he died.

Don't let the deal go down:

Where did you get those high top shoes,
Where did you get that coat so fine.

I got my shoes from a railroad man,
And my dress from a driver in the mine.

Latin George, my two favorites by you were:

I Can See Clearly now and Handel's Messiah.

back later, dear friends.

There are songs that have varying lyrics, according to times and the artist. I no longer let it affect my liking for a record.
