Well, it looks as thought we're back to the old days of radio. People would call and make a request and I would play it for them. It's the first time that I met Dan Lucas who had parkinson's disease.

This used to bother me, but it no longer does. Smile

Glenn Campbell

Good day, letty and a2k. I still love Pat Boone's old records. Happy St Pat's day.

@edgarblythe,
Welcome back, Mr. Creator and thanks for your comment

Love Glenn doing True Grit.

Well, as we know, The Russians retreated then Napoleon had to retreat. He died while in confinement of stomach cancer.

Here's another Glenn, but just ignore the second song. Sad

Here's golden oldie, but first some info concerning it:

"Limehouse Blues" is a popular 1922 British song written by the London-based duo of Douglas Furber (lyrics) and Philip Braham (music). It was made famous by Gertrude Lawrence.[1] It has been recorded hundreds of times since, and remains in the standard jazz repertory. Some of the most notable recordings include those by Sidney Bechet, Django Reinhardt, Count Basie, Louis Armstrong,

Now, the song:

Hi Letty, I've been trying to copy and paste a Chieftains song, but I'm unsuccessful. I have several of their CD's and they have played with many artists. But it honest to God Irish music with the fiddles, drums and things too exotic for me to understand. I'm using a Macbook Air and I'm probably doing something wrong.

Good morning all from a rather dark and dusky day here in our Florida radio station. Although St. Paddy's day is over, the music will keep it going.

Latin George, the only lovely song that wouldn't play was this one:

Mr. Creator, Eddy doing Chopin's My Twilight Dream was lovely.

Glitterbag, I found your song, dear friend, and here it is. I hope this is the one

the best thing to do is copy the link:

Come on back, y'all. Smile

Today is this man's birthday, but first some info:

He was raised on country music and says he considers himself half-redneck. One of his first bands was Diamond Lie.

I prefer acoustic guitar, but here he is:

@Fil Albuquerque,
Welcome back, my long time friend. The Stranglers? Thanks for the translation. Hmmm, why do I remember something about "madness is devinest sense". I guess I need too do some searching. I always learn from you.

Didn't know that trio, so thanks for the introduction.

From stranglers to stranger:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePWCJqAfoTA

and, our poem for today:

Much Madness is divinest Sense - (620)
By Emily Dickinson
Much Madness is divinest Sense -
To a discerning Eye -
Much Sense - the starkest Madness -
’Tis the Majority
In this, as all, prevail -
Assent - and you are sane -
Demur - you’re straightway dangerous -
And handled with a Chain -

sorry that I miss spelled divine. Smile
