When the Grateful Dead and I were young, I walked into one of their impromptu free concerts. They sounded pretty awful. But they made some good records, later on.

I love the Ink Spots.

Now it's Marty Robbins time

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Mr. Creator, I know what you mean by hearing a group that is awful in the beginning then later on gets better. Glad that you like the Ink Spots and I love Marty doing The Big Iron song. I used to know who that was, but I love to be inspired to look for things.

Your "big iron" reminded me of this song. I loved horses and still do.

Still concerned about my long time friend Bert Lee. <sniff>

Ah, my long time friend, I love that Irish song by Judy. As you know I love songs in a minor key as well.

I think that guy with the big iron was called Texas Red. Not certain, however, edgar. Maybe you will know.

Saying good afternoon now with to songs. First "It's Impossible" by this fantastic couple. Some songs don't need translating.

Letty~

Rhys and I thank you for the dedication.

Here are "alternate" lyrics popular with soldiers in the trenches during WW1.

That's the wrong way to tickle Mary,
That's the wrong way to kiss!
Don't you know that over here, lad,
They like it best like this!
Hooray pour le Francais!
Farewell, Angleterre!
We didn't know the way to tickle Mary,
But we learned how, over there

Mornin, letty, radio a2k.
I really admire Mancini, letty. He turned out good music the way factories turn out sausages, an endless stream.

Once again remembering happier times.

When my late husband and I were in New York, we may have crossed the Brooklyn Bridge and somehow this is one he taught to me:

I am thrilled to know that my long time friend Bert Lee is fine.

saying good afternoon with a couple of good ones.

First, one my Mamma loved:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bq7XPAzTxqU

Now, one by Nat who will live on through his music:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvGAczQnUCw

I smiled when I saw Michael/panz's pun on Frank Sinatra:

egrets I've had a few.

So her is the same from Nat:

I call my egrets Miss Otis.

From Letty with love to everyone here.
