@Letty,
I love "Woke Up This Morning", great song, super-well produced, and of course it reminds me of the Sopranoes of which I was a big fan.

From Wiki: Alabama 3 frontman Rob Spragg wrote the song after hearing about the 1996 murder case of Sara Thornton, who stabbed her husband after 2 years of abuse, mistreatment and neglect...

@Olivier5,
Welcome back, Mon Ami and thanks for that information on your great song. Don't know the Sopranoes but we love learning from you.

Sadly, Woke Up This Morning reminded me of James Taylors signature piece Fire and Rain.<sniff>

Here's a birthday man directed by Andre at Carnegie Hall. One does not have to be a theist to enjoy this fantastic composer.

@Letty,

The Sopranos (sorry, no "e") was a revolutionary TV series produced by HBO, staring late James Gandolfini as New Jersey-based mobster Tony Soprano. The show is about his family, friends and foes, with a lot of attention paid to "the real lives of mobsters" as semi-normal people. I think there was 6 seasons or so. One of the best TV series ever, if you ask me, and with splendid soundtracks.

Loved that song Don't Come Around Here No More.

. Lo, how a Rose e’er blooming
from tender stem hath sprung!
Of Jesse’s lineage coming,
as men of old have sung.
It came, a floweret bright,

ah, sorry that I lost some of the lyrics.

From Letty with love to all of my friends here.

(hope this time it works)

From Letty with love to all of my friends here.

From Letty with love to all of my friends.

When half spent was the night.

She wants
New shoulders to cry on
New backseats to lie on
And she always gets her way

She wants to hurt other guys
Put tears in other eyes
Baby's in the black books
Yes she's in the black books today

Good morning to all from a rather dark day here in our Florida radio station.

Mon Ami, hurry back from Rome as I really love The Black Books by Nils.

Ah, edgar, thanks for your comments on the roses and I love Roy doing Unchained Melody and You'll Never Walk Alone.

Thinking of Harry Belafonte today and his island in the sun:
