@edgarblythe,
Well, Mr. Creator, I didn't know it either but he was a birthday guy, etc

My word, I haven't heard Jerry Lee Lewis in a long time, but One Minute Passed Eternity was really good. Hope you like "the boss". Smile

Here's our poem for today:

I love this man:

My Shadow
By Robert Louis Stevenson
I have a little shadow that goes in and out with me,
And what can be the use of him is more than I can see.
He is very, very like me from the heels up to the head;
And I see him jump before me, when I jump into my bed.

The funniest thing about him is the way he likes to grow—
Not at all like proper children, which is always very slow;
For he sometimes shoots up taller like an india-rubber ball,
And he sometimes gets so little that there's none of him at all.

He hasn't got a notion of how children ought to play,
And can only make a fool of me in every sort of way.
He stays so close beside me, he's a coward you can see;
I'd think shame to stick to nursie as that shadow sticks to me!

One morning, very early, before the sun was up,
I rose and found the shining dew on every buttercup;
But my lazy little shadow, like an arrant sleepy-head,

Well, I want to say good afternoon with a military man that has always fascinated me. I used music to teach history, so here he is:

As we all know, everything must be interpreted in the light of the setting event.

From Letty with love to all.

When I was about 18, Napoleon fascinated me. I read quite a bit about him. Here is Marlon Brando as Napoleon.

Good chilly and rainy morning from out Florida Radio Station.

tsar, my long time friend, I loved Pat doing Love is a Battlefield. I love songs in a minor key.

Hey, Mr. creator. I remember Marlon Brando as Desiree, loved that memory. Loved Ray Charles, of course.

Thinking of happier times so I got up early this morning and looked at every photo of The Cocoa gathering.

Seeing Diane, Bob and yitwail was great

Seeing my long time friend Roger in that funny hat, I referred to him as

Lawrence of Arabia. What a surprise to find out that it was from gezzy. I used to call her Jezebel. Smile

Looking at all those photos made me think of my mom doin Precious Memories. Love that hymn.

"Precious memories how they linger, how they ever flood
my soul.."

Another tribute to David from Elton John:

well, it's almos high noon here, and here's is another legend:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pX6QlnlMqjE

Also, another history mystery:

On December 11, 1964, at the age of 33, Cooke was shot and killed by Bertha Franklin, the manager of the Hacienda Motel in Los Angeles, California. After an inquest, the courts ruled Cooke's death to be a justifiable homicide. Since that time, the circumstances of his death have been called into question by Cooke's family and his wide circle of friends and acquaintances.

Now, another golden oldie that my mom loved:

and another birthday man, Francis Bacon (I always liked center cut bacon. Smile

Well, John was off to work early this morning and I had to put my rescue bracelet on.

Once again calling all, y'all. Smile

The rain has stopped and the sun is shining in our Florida radio station.

It reminded me of this song by Stevie Wonder, and I'm not sure who played it here. I think it was either tsar or edgar.

Speaking of my rescue bracelet.

I didn't play much with frogs. I was told that when I was very small I would sit in a pepper patch and eat hot peppers, with tears streaming down my cheeks.
