Bijou - Sidonie

Bijou was a decent "post-punk" French band in the 80s. This particular song is based on a "double entente": the singer pretends to be in love with a small female cat called Sidonie... The way he described her, he's evidently talking of some other kind of pussy.

Lucky Peterson - It's because I'm black

Check his keyboard solo starting at 6:10.... He clearly enjoys pushing boundaries.

@Olivier5,
Welcome back, Mon Ami. Loved that one by Bijou. As you know I love French music. It's because I'm Black was a goodie also.

Here's another ABBA, y'all.

@edgarblythe,
Hey, Mr. Creator,thanks for the comment and personal acknowledgement. Glad you liked ABBA. I really enjoyed Harry doing Good Morning Captain.

Mon Ami, we always enjoy what you play here. Both of those songs were great.

It is rainy and dark here, y'all, but maybe we get some sunshine through our music.

Although there is good and bad in ethnicity, I still love knowing it.

Tsar and I love Russian music, so here is a fantastic one:

More sisters, y'all. Introduced to me by Bert Lee's lovely bride.

My older sister also told me that we sang it on stage.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, Mr. Creator, thanks for keeping us going and for the comment on that trio and your personal acknowledgement. Strange, I know The Object of My Affection but not Jimmie Grier. Love those golden oldies.

Here's our poem for today:

He glides so swiftly
Back into the grass-
Gives me the courtesy of road
To let me pass,
That I am half ashamed
To seek a stone
To kill him.
Langston Hughes

Hoorah, Latin George is back with more fantastic Hawaiian music. Love that one too.
