Good morning from our radio station here in Florida.

Yep, it's good to see our edgar/mark back with us. Poor Sam Cooke. <sniff> that was a great cover of his song.

Olivier 5, just sent you my addy via PM. Check it out.

Tsar, Good to see you here as well. Funky Monks was funny, monks.Smile

Someone once asked me if I was a snow bird, and it reminded me of Anne Murray:

@McTag,
Always good to see you here my Scottish friend. Don't know that song, but here is one to match.

First, the theme song. edgar and I decided long ago that the theme is better than the movie:

I never see Latin George that I don't think of George III. These guys once did a parody on him.

McTag, I love Willie doing Good Morning America.

Here are the guys that did it, y'all:

We'll dedicate that to George's lovely bride. Smile

UhOh! I'll get high with a little help from my friends? Perhaps they meant high on a windy hill.

Two birthday gals today:

First Connie:

That is Lara's theme from Dr. Zhivago.

Now, a tribute to Dionne:

I always liked Lara's Theme, but not the movie.
Dionne Warwick is a great lady.

BBC2 is currently showing reruns of Top of the pops from 1980. I thought it would be fun to watch stuff in the charts when I was 18. One unintended consequence is that songs I'd long forgotten about suddenly become very annoying earworms. I've been singing this all day.

edgar, I had no idea that Harry did I'm Just a Country Boy. Thanks for your comments, dear friend.

Ah, England, welcome back to you as well. Didn't know Nolan's song, but it was great.

The only folks that I hear from at The Cocoa gathering is Roger, Ursula, and her Stephan and Bernice(phoenix). She asked me to play this one:

A few days ago in Paris, U2 invited the Eagles of Death Metal to play with them. The Eagles were the band playing at the Bataclan the night of the attacks.

The bands play Patti Smith's People Have The Power and I Love You All The Time.
