First Willie Nelson.

Now, The Best Italian songs.

@izzythepush,
Always good to see you here, England. The Runs doing Bun in the Oven was great.

Here's our poem for the day:

No man is an island,
Entire of itself,
Every man is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thy friend's
Or of thine own were:
Any man's death diminishes me,
Because I am involved in mankind,
And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls;
It tolls for thee.

Here's a great one by The Andrew Sisters. I used to think they were German.

Incidentally, that poem was by John Donne.

When I first looked at Roger's photo, I told him that he looked so masculine and that the most masculine thing a man could do was to cry:

Back is a bit better. I'm saying good after with two song:

First, King Kong.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4GxcIiyQrU

Now, Mickey Rooney as puck in a Midsummer's Night dream

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jjUe3G4BtA

and, The War of the Mad Priests.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKWelcf2oTo

More odd information:

King Kong, mighty Joe Young and the Yeti are all giants, true. Stories in tabloid magazines and speculative documentaries tell of giant ape like creatures nine feet tall killing deer in Alaska and frightening travelers in Tibet.

In spite of everything, I think Roger and I are still friends

From Letty with love to the world.

@tsarstepan,
Welcome back, tsar, my long time friend:

Simply Red doing Sunrise was great. Didn't know him, so thanks again for the introduction.

Here's another Sunrise and we'll dedicate this one to "the pullman's belated Mum"

As everyone knows, I look back in happier times. I have beautiful colored photos of my late husband when he was Santa Claus with many little children crowded around him. He did the ventures for free.

Well, it's Thor's day now, so here is a funny one:

Just a personal anecdote:

I stay with our radio because I can no longer do photos.

To reply to a thread where there are no responses, is futile.

Today is this lady's birthday, but first some info:

Daryl Christine Hannah is an American film actress. She is best known for her performances in the films Blade Runner, Splash, Roxanne, Wall Street, Steel Magnolias and Kill Bill.
She dated John F. Kennedy, Jr.

Here is a tribute to her now. Frankly, I don't much care for it, but let's watch and listen just the same:
