Saying good afternoon now with a Thanksgiving poem
PILGRIM POEM
Many years ago the Pilgrims came.
They sailed on a ship - the Mayflower was its name.
They sailed across the Atlantic blue,
So they could worship the way they wanted to.
Many people died along the way,
And the first winter was hard they say.
The Native Americans were already here.
They helped the Pilgrims plant corn and hunt deer.
They all got together to share food and pray,
And that's why we celebrate Thanksgiving Day!
Great having Tsar with us today. Maybe more friends tomorrow.

Well, Labyrinth is an odd way to start Saturday.
Never saw the movie, but I like the song.
I was thinking about these folks yesterday.
Peter, Paul & Mary -- Man Of Constant Sorrow
The theme from the Itailian movie
Nino Rota -- I Vitelloni
Latin George, great to see you here again, dear friend.
Loved all three of your songs and I had to laugh at S.O.B. Although the abbreviation means sob.
Here's on to match Peter,Paul, and Mary. Love that trio:

Looking back at happier times again. I miss my German Shepherd that we named Ebony. He was a guard dog as well, and when he would bark and growl at someone coming to our front door, my late husband would say:
Keep Eb Tied.

Now, our poem for today:
Tam O Shanter
Robert Burns.
For pleasures are like poppies spread,
You seize the flower, the bloom in dead.
and like the snow fall in a river
A moment white then lost forever.
Or like the bourealis race,
that flits ere you can point the place.
Or like the rainbow's lovely form
That vanished amid the storm.
