Good morning from our Florida radio station.

Ah, Mon Ami, that couple singing and the piano man was fabulous. Some songs don't need translating.

Thinking of Light Wizard today because he loved John Philip Sousa.

Another one hit wonder. Yesterday was Vivian Leigh's birthday:

@tsarstepan,
Ah, my long time friend, to this day I think the best James Bond was Sean Connery and Shirley says it right. Smile

For some reason, I was thinking about birds today. There are egrets all over my front yard.

Two versions of birds now:

Here I am again. Smile Reminds me of dear HIAMA who was really ill and I did:

"Strictly between us you're cuter than venus and what's more you've got arms."

How about some brothers, now:

Hope Region is alright. I miss him.

From Letty with love to everyone here. Great having Brooklyn and France with us. Maybe England tomorrow.

Last night we had our bonfire and fireworks. It was a day late because it pissed it down on Thursday. It rained a lot yesterday but we had a dry spell from about 7pm. Got all the garden rubbish, plus a load of discarded wood I'd picked up from hedgerows, burned up, but it took quite a bit of paraffin.

Good morning from our Florida radio station.

tsar, Vamoose? Love it and how odd to look at the photo of my David smiling. I felt horrible, and suddenly I was healed. Smile

England, welcome back to you my long time friend. I loved that classical song by Handel and your having revealed the fireworks for royalty was fantastic but also funny as the rain pissed on your parade.

Two songs for the morning here. First, one that really surprised me.

That was an interesting number by Paul McCartney and Diana Krall.
I'm not used to hearing him in that mode.

Something dark and moody from 1965.
Makes me think of Sam Spade lighting up a cigarette under a street light.

Welcome back and hurry back, Latin George.

Thanks for your comment on Paul and Diana.

Loved all of your songs, dear friend, but my favorites were Ray Charles and Harlem Nocturne.

Today is this lady's birthday:
