Where are all my friends? Smile

The only people that I have met I now only hear from Roger, Bernice, and Ursula and her Swede.

This is a neat slide show:

Odd, people that I have never met, I feel as though I have by looking at their pictures.

Bert Lee is quite ill, and I am concerned about him.

Saying good afternoon with "the eternal virgin" Doris Day and she is still with us.

Also a poem by dear Emily Dickenson.

First, Doris:

Now, dear Emily:

Emily Dickenson:
There are two Ripenings -- one -- of sight --
Whose forces Spheric wind
Until the Velvet product
Drop spicy to the ground --
A homelier maturing --
A process in the Bur --
That teeth of Frosts alone disclose
In far October Air.

Great having England, France, and Ireland with us.

@ehBeth,
Welcome back, dear friend. What a surprise to find out that Setanta was in the army and relocated to Virginia. Love Can't Feel My Face. Didn't know it so thanks for the introduction.

First, a birthday gal:

Hey, Satin George. Loved In The Still of the Night. Hope Rhys doesn't stumble or fall. Smile

I was a hippy at one time, but didn't practice it in public, because I was NOT an activist.

Well, here is another English rock group now:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=No1pEhgurHI

We'll dedicate that one to our German and friends in England.

How about the Irish tenors:

@Letty,
Very good version of Black is the colour.

Here's Christy Moore's version live in Glasgow which is fitting as it's a Scottish ballad.

@eurocelticyankee,
Ah, my Irish friend, I loved that version better and it was in a minor key.

Going to say good afternoon now as I have been having some day dreams lately.

Hurry back, my Irish friend. Loved both of those Blondie songs, but the one that I liked the best was Heart of Glass. I enjoyed disco at that time.

Good Sun day morning from here in our Florida radio station.

Thinking of Perry Como today and this is the first one that I ever heard by him.

I also observed that if I could compare a vocalist and a poet, it would be this guy:

What happened to my long time friend Tsar?

First, two versions of The Navy Hymn:

Now, thinking of my David:

Remember, y'all, one doesn't have to be a theist to enjoy hymns

@Letty,
Nice swing there... :-)

Did I play this piece by Stromae already? It's about women nagging their men... The title means [men are] "all alike". Sounds like a sour subject but the lyrics are fun and the dancing quite nice. Note that Stromae is playing both man and woman in the video.

Good Monday morning from here in our Florida radio station and Happy Columbus Day, too.

Mon Ami, thanks for the comment on the swing songs and I love both of those Stormae songs. The translation was also appreciated, and you know how I love ethnicity and I smiled a big one, Smile

Three songs for the morning here. First Glen Miller:
