Good Saturday, WA2K.

Good to hear Letty's "Dancing in the Moonlight". That song evokes many
memories for me.

Hey, Barry! Awright?

Here's one from the early 70s.

Procol Harum -- Conquistador

Good late morning from our Florida radio station.

Welcome back, Barry. Love that one by Al. I hope a change does come here and for the better.

Latin George, good to see you back with us as well. Glad you enjoyed that moonlight dance, my friend, and Procal Harum doing Conquistador was fabulous. Who was he, incidentally?

More synchronicity because today is Napoleon Bonaparte's birthday.

First, Glenn Campbell:

Now, the instrumental:

I think that most of us know that the Russians defeated him by retreating, then he had to retreat. He died while in confinement of stomach cancer.

While we await Latin George's comment to England, here is another birthday man.

First, some info:

Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt, better known as Ben Affleck, is an American actor, film director, screenwriter and producer. He has won two Academy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards.

Now, the tribute:

Just a reminder to our contributors. To maintain the format of our radio station, try to comment on each contribution.

Latin George, as you know, I love Van "the man". He also did the original St. James Infirmary.

More synchronicity, y'all as the first radio station that I was associated with I opened with Johnny Mercer and read The Raven by Poe. He had bi-polar problems as well.

I feel a bit better, but I am sorry that edgar(no, not allan Poe) will no longer be here.

Saying good afternoon with Johnny and Poe.

Great having England with us today.

From letty with love to everyone here

Enjoyed Aly Bain's retreat Ms Letty. It seems time to move on.There are lots of "old" friends willing and waiting to hold your hand and guide you step by step to set up another radio station and the good thing is,YOU can select the friend's you wanna listen to,plus you can still keep WA2K on the air for as long as you want to.Just give it a try, walk out your front door, walk down to the beach and dip your toes in the water ;-)
By the way,i love this new version....may i have this dance?

Happy SUN day here from our Florida radio station.

Morgan, Thanks for the personal acknowledgement and I loved Adam doing Ghost Town.

Pushman, Your version of Ghost Town was good as well.

Barry, I'm glad that we are friends again, and you know how I love that cockney patois. That version of Moon Dance was great.

McTag, Welcom back to you as well. As you know, I love Scottish musis and their black watch plaid garments. Smile

Here's Ray Charles doing Careless Love:

One does not have to be a theist to enjoy that lovely song.

Ray, blind and wearing glasses; Andrea blind and NOT.

Thinking of Uncanny today and his observation last year:

I didn't want to post and ruin your station. That is in my top 3 list for most amazing things I have seen on the Internet. A forum radio station. It's 10 years old, 1500 pages long and still alive. I can't stop reading it. I hope this lives on for many more decades.

Thinking of Sidney today. He was the first person of color to win an academy award:

Later it was blackboard jungle when he was a teacher.

Once again, listeners and contributors, I had some problems getting into our Florida radio station.

Thought of the two versions of Mack:

First, Bobby:

Now, Three Penny Opera:
