@edgarblythe,
Ah, Good to see our creator back with us. Thanks again for your comment and personal acknowledgement.

Remember Stan Freeberg? He called him Paul Ankle. Smile

I liked My Diana by him.

Remembering happier times when my late husband loved Jazz.

Here's another Paul:

UhOh, Paul, you chased Texas away. Maybe he'll come back and stay.

Here's "the boss" again. That's what he was referred to and still is:

@edgarblythe,
Ah, glad you're back, Mark and thanks for the comment and as you know, I love Hank Williams'. I Heard That Lonesome Whistle Blow was great.

Here's a surprise. Hank also did Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LP_lxNcICqE

and although I remember this best by Willie Nelson. Here's "the king" doing it.

Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain was recorded by Hank, but I don't think he put it on a record in his lifetime. Willie popularized it and it transformed him into a really big star.

@edgarblythe,
I agree, Mark, but I was just surprised to find out that "the King" did it. I love Willie Nelson.

Love that golden oldie by Bert Lawn. Here You Come with Love was great, and I noticed that it was a fox trot

The fox is a very popular animal. Why do guys refer to lovely ladies as foxes?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pecj5GGjQi8

My older sister and I decided that Hank was a poet, and this proves it:

Hear that lonesome whippoorwill,
He sounds too blue to fly.
The midnight train is whining low,
I'm so lonesome I could cry.
I've never seen a night so long
When time goes crawling by.
The moon just went behind the clouds
To hide its face and cry.
Did you ever see a robin weep,
When leaves begin to die
That means he's lost the will to live,
I'm so lonesome I could cry.
The silence of a falling star
Lights up a purple sky.
And as I wonder where you are
I'm so lonesome I could cry.

Going to say good afternoon now as I have a lot to do.

This song by Bobby is about the buddy system in fox holes.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQLCj3kxfqk

remembering au who said:

Letty, there are no atheists in fox holes.

So good to have our creator with us today.

From Letty with love to the world.

@edgarblythe,
Mark, That was a great one by Vikki, and it reminded me of this one by Perry:

For some reason, Latin George's Caravan reminded me of American Indians.:

Mark, once again thanks for your comment and personal acknowledgement.

Ah, Love What is Life by George. He was my favorite of those bugs.

As you know, edgar, one doesn't have to be a theist to enjoy hymns.

Going to say good afternoon now. It's really hot here.

Yesterday was Harriet's birthday, so here is Ricky:

and another serenade. I never see The Yabber Liner that I don't think of The Love Boat. Also inspired by my friend Roger's avatar:

Great having France with us today and Texas, of course.

Ah, I was hoping our creator would keep us going.

A birthday guy, y'all:

and, our poem for today:

Hope

"Hope" is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all,
