Good early morning from our radio station here in Florida. Had some allergies this morning and awakened to get some of my meds for the sniffles.

Odd, Latin George and edgar. When I was a kid, I had a little red wagon and kept it until I was grown as I do all of my golden oldies.

Three songs for this morning, y'all. First, a birthday gal:

Now, one that I played before here and Latin George must have heard it. Smile

Now, a lady that I love to hear:

Egyptology was very much in fashion in the 1880s, and when the Epsom Derby is on well....

Hurry back Izz with a y. Music from Egypt was quite popular here at one time. Incidentally, dear friend. When I was in high school, I played crab soccer and net soccer. I blocked some girl's soccer ball over the net, and she followed me into the dressing room, gave me a shove and said, "Wanna fight?" I faced her and said, "I'm too much of a lady to do that." I have never see such a change of face then. Smile

Hope my long time friend edgar/Mark like that country singer, and as for Latin George, instead of The Graveyard era, he should do this one.

and, y'all, I learned to do this as well:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cv6tuzHUuuk

Long ago when we camped, we got fly paper and put it in our motor home. I got my hair all caught up in it.

And, another Henry VIII:

@edgarblythe,
I'm Leavin it All Up to You by those two was great, Mark. Yes, dear Glenn has been and will be through his music.

Still having some allergies here, so I'm saying good afternoon now.

First a great classical performer:

Good evening, WA2K, and welcome to the Graveyard Shift.

We heard "Midnight At The Oasis" played by Letty. Some of those lyrics
make me giggle.

EdgarBlythe spun "Leavin' It Up To You", by a great duo from Loozianne.
I spent a couple of "interesting" years down that way.

I was scanning in some pictures from back in the seventies today, so here
are some tunes from that era.

Anybody out there remember doing the disco thing?

They said the same about the congestion charge.

Quote:
The Pleasures of Hope.—To the numerous protesters against
the meddlesome " New Thames Bye-Laws " it is pleasantly suggested
that they shall try them for a year or two, and see how they work.
In fact, our only comfort under the infliction of these " Bye-Laws "
is a certain faintly hopeful looking forward to " By-and-by Laws,"
which may be more endurable when they come.

Good Sunday morning from here in our Florida radio station.

Tsar, Wynton doing Take the A Train was fantastic. Hurry back, dear friend
and the rest of you as well.

Latin George, glad the Oasis made you giggle. Love onomanopoeias.
Chic doing Everybody Dance and Tyrone's Get on Up were also good ones.

Izzy with a y, we always enjoy your contributions. Thanks again for that info.

Hope I didn't miss anyone. I got a bit shiverie when I saw a fly on my computer screen. Sad

Two secular songs for the beginnin of the day. First, a birthday man:

Now, A Horse With No Name. Smile

Time to beck and call, y'all.

That fly on my computer screen had to do with Joe from Chicago and I discussing the two versions of the movie The Fly. One by Jeff Goldblum and the other by Vincent Price.

I explained that I had not seen a fly around here in years. Wow!

Three songs for the approaching noon here.

First, a birthday man.

He's talking about Lefty Frizzell of course.

Now, two hymns for the day:

First Andre Bocelli:

Now, in happier times when I was on my way to Tennessee to see my son.
